50+ of The Best Places to Get Design Gigs & Jobs

More than 50 Jobs & marketplaces for Freelance DesignersFreelance Design Jobs and marketplaces have been  a not soo.. great place untill recently when even high quality designers can get quality clients and jobs on these design jobs marketplaces. Design jobs and gigs might have been hard to find before, but not these days. It is a fact that finding a work that suits your capabilities are very hard especially now when the economies are very down. This is true for most web designers, graphic designers or other creative professionals. So everyone must have an alternative. What if your client does not like your creations? Don’t lose hope. Because there are lots of sites nowadays that lets you sell those rejected designs as templates, and spend your idle time competing against other professionals for projects without having to make contacts with the client first.

Below are some sites where you can sell everything from logos to web templates, photos, WordPressWordPress reviewsWordPress reviews themes, and much more. Do you have other sites to recommend? Please put it in the comments.


graphic-leftovers

123RF -Upload your photos and they will help you sell it online. You’ll earn 50% of the net proceeds for every photo downloaded. There are other ways to earn. When you refer a customer, you’ll get 15% of the purchase or subscription. When you refer photographers, you’ll get 10% of the price of each of their photo downloaded.
BigStockPhoto - sells images individually, and you can earn $0.50 to $3 per download (or more on special license downloads). In order to be accepted into the program you’ll have to pass a test. You can get more information and sign up from their website.
FlashDen - FlashDen is a flash file marketplace that pays you at least 40% of the sales price.
Crestock - is another popular option for buying and selling stock photography and images. Their site does not offer details on payment structure or commissions (at least not that I could find), although there is an option to apply to become a seller.


Photospin
- sells images by subscription. Their website allows you to inquire about becoming a seller, but there is no information about commissions or details.
themeforest

Cybasumo - Upload your stuff once and it’s available through the main CybaSumo store, your blog, your Facebook profile, and everywhere else!
ThemeForest - Sell your stock web design templates and receive at least 40% of the sales price.


GraphicRiver
- Market vector images, layered Photoshop files and more.

Shutterstock - Earn $0.25 per download of your photography and vector images.

MyFonts - You can also sell your fonts as part of the largest font collection online.

WP Theme Market - WP Theme Market designs and sell WordPress themes.

cutcaster.com - Sell your digital images and vector graphics, together with stock video.
clever-andy

CafePress - you can create and sell a variety of customizable products with zero upfront costs and zero inventory investment. Gives you a FREE online shop to promote your products.
Clever Andy - Through Clever Andy, you can see your designs turned into fully-functioning site and then earn commission on the total sales price. Templamatic - You can also upload and sell your own website templates.

- This is a forum-based platform for buying, selling, and trading WordPress themes.

Digital Point Buy, Sell or Trade Forum - You can sell templates or entire sites on this forum.

iStockPhoto - advertise photos, illustrations, flash, video, and more through this quality-controlled site.

redbubble - Another artwork marketplace where you can sell wall art, t-shirts, calendars, greeting cards, etc.
Minted - This is a regular contest where you can submit your designs and receive cash prizes.

- Design a t-shirt, submit it for voting, and if it’s one of the best, see it made and sold.
