What is Eco Friendly Web Designs?

Where the design is concerned, I believe most of us are only the laymen. When you see the headline “Eco-Friendly”, did you guess eco was Economic Cooperation Organization? It’s a wrong opinion! Let’s look up the dictionary to get what it is. Environmentally friendly (eco-friendly and nature friendly) are synonyms used to refer to goods and services considered to inflict minimal or no harm on the environment. To make consumers aware, environmentally friendly goods and services often are marked with eco-labels. But because there is no single international standard for this concept, the International Organization for Standardization considers such labels too vague to be meaningful. Thus, Eco Friendly Web Designs is referred to the environmentally friendly website and marked with eco-labels.

The Trend of Website Desgin

At present, because it is running pretty much everything on our lives are moving towards being eco-friendly and conserving our natural resources, the designers have applied some of these green lessons to web design. If you are running an eco-friendly or green business and hunting for a green website design, you’ve come to the right place!

Holding an eco-friendly or green business means you want to do business with other folks who share your passion for improving the planet. Perhaps you sell fair trade and recycled products and need an online store. Or maybe your company is involved in environmental clean up activities. You should always demand a new, original and unique web design, especially if you are paying for a custom web design. Web developers should constantly be striving to innovate design for greater usability and effectiveness; you don’t want someone else’s stale old design. These green designs can have positive economic impact and social impact. In green terms, this equates to culture and quality of life; contributing to a positive quality of life for current and future generations.

Anyway, whatever your specific green mission is, you’ll want to work with a web designer and a website hosting company who are green as well.
