To remember some of them, here are the list of Windows in chronological order from the first and some facts about them:

1. 1985- Windows 1.01

Brand: Windows 1.01
Year of Release: 1985
Notes: It has installed drives for hardwares like mouse, keyboard and printer. It was developed not just to be a graphics surrounding but as a total operating system as well. This brand of Windows cannot operate without the disk operating system.

2. 1987- Windows 2.03

Brand: Windows 2.03.
Year of Release: 1987.
Notes: In this brand was the use of maximize and minimize first tested. This was also the first that lets cover other opened windows by a window.

3. 1992- Windows 3.1
