Nice article, although I’ve seen some of the things you talk about are not AJAX but simply JavaScript, I thought it might be useful if you separated those in two categories or something, because it is a bit confusing.

@ Alex on closer look some of the apps here are not specifically only AJAX but as some(DHTML) mimic the benefits and usability, Ajax for that matter can be seen as matter of opinion as advanced Javascript…

Please don’t confuse AJAX and Javascript. One is a methodology within a language (Javascript) and one is a language. A good number of those examples have nothing to do with AJAX and are simple DHTML
